WHAT WE DO
Doing what we do best
Anywhere in the world
MDS Worldwide provides armed and unarmed security teams onboard vessels transiting the areas such as the GOA and Malacca straights.
All our maritime team members are SSO and STCW95 certified and come from a variety of forces backgrounds. We also employ a large number of qualified divers to meet any sub service security demands such as hull searches and port facility underwater security checks.
Close Protection Teams
MDS Worldwide has an extensive database of security professionals all of which are experienced in the close protection and hostile environment. Our security members are primarily UK forces that have served in Iraq or Afghanistan not only as serving military members but also as part of close protection teams for civilian PSC’s. All have the SIA licence in close protection and some form of advanced medical training.
Personal Protection Officers
MDS Worldwide provides individual PPO’s as well as CP teams to those persons requiring a smaller more personal level of security. All our PPO’s have the same background as the CP teams being either ex UK SF or having had many years working as a PPO in a hostile environment.
MDS Worldwide are also the only authorised training centre for the public safety diver qualification in Europe. This means that if required we can ensure your PPO is certified to carry out diving duties where he can be an effective rescue diver, security officer and dive supervisor.
MDS Worldwide provides some of the best training in the world for hostile environment CP duties. With the Cypriot climate and landscape being similar to that of the Middle East we are able to create realistic conditions to those of Iraq and Afghanistan. We also conduct the FPOS Intermediate course in these conditions giving you the best PSC pre-deployment training available.
MDS Worldwide has also been awarded with the certification to be able to train members in the use of the FAST-1 I/O device. This is becoming the preferred method of delivery for intravenous fluids to a casualty by medics in hostile environments.
